Interesting.
What should you say when you are not looking for anything in particular, you just want to take a look around the shop without having the shop clerk following every step you take? I’m looking for a polite form, of course.

@S.
you may say: 我随便看看。
then the shop clerk would not follow you any more

Tell me about phrase with suffix 看。(例如: 试试看)。

@Bunbun: Adding 看 after a reduplicated verb gives it a meaning along the lines of “see how it works”. 试试看 is “try it out (to see how it is)”; there are also phrases like 问问看 “ask (and see)”, which you might use in a context like “我不知道我们的老板会不会支持我们这样做,你先问问看吧“ (’I don’t know if the boss will support this, why don’t you check first’). You can also do it with things like 吃吃看 “try a taste”, 穿穿看 “try it on”, etc., although I feel like 试试看 and 问问看 seem to be much more commonly used.
