From any vocab list, click on the ‘Add Word’ button and fill in the details. This allows you to manually enter any word you would like into our database. Words you add will show up in the search results as coming from your vocab list. ‘Add Word’ is different than adding a word through search or grabbing one from another members vocab list. Words you add might make it into our database as entries if they are good enough and we don’t already have them. see images

All you have to do to edit a word is click the ‘Edit’ link to the right of a word from inside ‘My nciku > Vocab Lists.’ You can do five different things on this screen: edit, add, rearrange meanings, delete, and restore. continue reading

Flashcards - Print cutout flashcards - Four words per page with the top three meanings of each word will be printed. Good for cutting in to cards to study with. No examples will be included on the flashcards. see image
- How do I export vocab lists to my computer?

When viewing a vocab list you want to export, simply click the “Export” link on the right side of the vocab list title box. Then choose the file format you wish to export the list to, and save the file to your computer. continue reading

- What does ‘Listen’ do?

Clicking the ‘Listen’ button lets you hear all the words you have selected. You can also click the button in each individial word to hear only that word. see image
